NAPA SUEDE is leather with a napped finish, commonly used for shoes and other items. It is made from the underside of the skin, primarily from the skin of smaller animal like lamb, although goat, pig, calf and deer are also commonly used. Its softness, thinness and pliability make it suitable for shoes and delicate uses.
SPLIT SUEDE – These split suede are typically the second layers of adult animal where the leather is slide to its desired thickness for shoe making. These leathers would have both sides suede, however the finer side with a higher density is usually used on the outside. The only difference when comes to cleaning is the used of the proper tools like the brush and eraser to make the naps or piles.
