Leather Tannin Stain Remover 3.5 by Leather Doctor is a specialized cleaning solution for removing cellulose-based stains like coffee, tea, wine, grass, certain dyes, and most plant and vegetation stains.
Its pH-balanced formula (3.5) ensures it is gentle yet effective, making it safe for all leather types, including Vachetta, Nubuck, pigmented, aniline, suede, hair-on-hide, and woolskin.
The formula works through an oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction, breaking down and lifting stains without damaging the leather. Perfect for restoring your leather items to their original condition.
Instruction:
1. The concentrate must be mixed with distilled water 1: 3 before use.
2. Test for discoloration on an inconspicuous area and check after it dries, as it may strip some dyes.
3. Thorough cleaning is required for compound stains; allow it to dry before application.
4. Apply using a dropper, cotton swab, or spray, then blot with an absorbent towel until the towel comes away clean.
5. Allow natural drying for the chemical reaction and repeat as necessary.
6. Rinse away the residue with Rinse 3.0 until you hear a healthy squeak, then let it dry naturally.
