Product Overview

Leather Aniline Wax Pull-up Protein Stain Remover - Kit-Aw5.ps by Leather Doctor is formulated, to remove protein-based stains, that tends to coagulate, and becomes part of, the protein leather. CleanProtein-9.9 is developed, to deflocculated or break-down coagulating protein-based stains, such as blood, body-discharge, milk, cream, ice cream, egg, meat juices, vomit, perspiration, urine, and all other, protein-based stains. Moreover, any staining, that comes from a living animal or person, will probably need this product, in the holistic removing process. Acidifier-2.0 is a leather pH stabilizer, that is used to rinse and neutralize, remaining residues, to the leather, desired neutral pH of 3 - 5, and simultaneously, ensuring that the leather, retains its healthy squeaky feel, with a testing wet finger. Hydrator-3.3 relaxes stiff leathers, and reduces surface tension, prior to fatliquoring (fat and oil) replenishing. Fatliquor-5.0 rejuvenates the leather structure, for softness and strength, to suppleness when dry. EffectWax-8.6 rejuvenates the internal structural cross-section wax pull-up effect and slowly coagulates as it dries to a cloudy waxy coating, on the surface, to be heat activated, into the desired glossy characteristics. The surface wear of the leather is greatly reduced, with a rub-resistant, Protector-D+ that enhances, a non-stick draggy-feel, to shield the surface, against sticky soiling, besides healing, and concealing lightening scuff, and abrasion marks. Note that the mentioned products suffix numbers denotes, its pH value, in this holistic approach, to removing protein-based stains, from aniline wax pull-up leathers. This kit comes with reduced weight option to save on shipping thus all have to be cut/mix and filled up with distilled water prior to use.

Instruction:

Step-1

The surface deposit is removed with HorsehairBrush-1, LeatherEraser-4 or LeatherEraser-6 and vacuum or wipe clean free of residue.

Note that the topcoat in most cases will be damaged and need to be refinished after the stain is removed. There might be a little discoloration and this side effect is rectified by using Hydrator-3.3 to redistribute the dormant aniline dyestuff from the structure thickness to the surface. And the entire panel has to be done without allowing any dry space, otherwise, line ring and marks will be another repeat to disperse them. If this expectation is understood, we can proceed with the wet cleaning.

Step-2

CleanProtein-9.9 (pH 9.9) is used accordingly to instruction, following deep into the leather structure to break the stain down. With the help of a smooth spatula like a spoon, agitating it to break up the coagulating stain. Inevitably the topcoat is the sacrifice for a moment to reach deep to the bottom of the stain. It will be refinished with AnilineTop-76.

Step-3

Acidifier-2.0 (pH 2.0) is used as a rinse and a pH balancer to control the leather chemistry from denaturing. Any stickiness or sliminess is to be pH balanced to a squeaky feel with Acidifier-2.0 to the leather original integrity.

This removal process is repeated until satisfaction. And to even out appearance, the rest of the surrounding area may receive the same treatment.

Step-4

Hydrator-3.3 (pH 3.3) helps to bring up fresh color by redistributing from the surrounding areas. With this technique, we save the color touch up. The activated dyestuff will blend in naturally when done accordingly. Read more details here:

Step-5

Fatliquort-5.0 (pH 5.0) continues while the leather is still damp from Hydrator-3.3, when dry it will have your leather as soft as you wish. Read more details here: https://leatherdoctor.com/fatliquor-5-0/

Step-6

Hydrator-3.3 is used to remove surface residue-free from any milky appearance which may affect the AnilineTop-21-W from proper adhesion.

Step-7

EffectWax-8.6 is applied to saturate into the leather structure to rejuvenate the pull-up effect. And as it dries a coating of crystalline wax will form on its surface to be activated with a hot hair dryer or blower. Read more

Step-8

AnilineTop-76G top coatings will impart a high loss effect matching the original luster level.

Step-9

Protector-D scentless or Protector-D+ leather-scented impart a draggy-feel that also heal and conceal light surface scuffings.
