Saddlery Acidifier 2.0 (Acidifier 2.0) by Leather Doctor®

  • Professional Leather-Safe™ pH 2.0 Leather pH Corrector for Horse Saddles & Tack
  • Correct What Cleaning and Rinsing Cannot
  • Cleaning removes contamination.
  • Rinsing completes the cleaning process.
  • When leather still feels tacky, sticky, or slimy after Rinse 3.0, it no longer needs additional cleaning—it needs correction.

Saddlery Acidifier 2.0 by Leather Doctor® is a Leather-Safe™, pH 2.0 Leather pH Corrector formulated to restore leather's natural acidic environment after alkaline overexposure.

  • It is a condition-dependent corrective treatment, used only when Rinse 3.0 Cleaning Stabilizer alone is insufficient to restore normal leather response.
  • Correct Precisely. Restore Naturally.

 Why Choose Acidifier 2.0?

Leather naturally performs within a mildly acidic environment.
Exposure to alkaline cleaners, saddle soaps, excessive cleaning, or alkaline residues can disturb this balance.
When imbalance remains after cleaning and rinsing, leather may become:
  • Slimy
  • Sticky
  • Tacky
  • Unresponsive during rinsing

Acidifier 2.0 restores the leather's natural acidic environment, allowing the fiber structure to respond normally again.

 What Acidifier 2.0 Does

Core Function

Corrects alkaline imbalance after cleaning and rinsing.

Deeper Function

When leather has been exposed to excessive alkalinity, the collagen fiber structure becomes less stable and less responsive.

Acidifier 2.0 gently restores the leather's preferred acidic environment, reducing tackiness while preparing the leather for relaxation, replenishment, and refinement.
