Hydrator 3.5 penetrates deep into this structure to relax, separate and loosen the fibers .
- When you apply a cleaner or even just water to a pre-owned Vachetta, the water dissolves the tannins from the tannery and moves them around haphazardly.
- As it dries, the water evaporates and pushes the tannins to the edges, creating unsightly, dark, and permanent stains (dry rings).
- Thanks to its strictly acidic pH of 3.5 , the Hydrator modifies the surface chemical tension.

How to Apply for Professional Results:
1. Ensure the Vachetta leather has been thoroughly cleaned and prepared using:
Vachetta Patina Guard Foam Cleaner 4.5,
Vachetta Patina Guard Rinse 4.5
2. Apply a generous, even layer of Vachetta Internal Hydrator 3.5 to the leather handles, straps, or trim using a soft brush or a high-density sponge.
3. Work from seam to seam.
Allow the fluid to sink in for 5 to 10 minutes.
The leather will appear dark while damp—this is completely normal as the fibers relax.
The Critical Golden Window:
While the Vachetta is still damp and fully open from the Hydrator, apply your Vachetta Internal Fatliquor 5.0 immediately. This ensures the nourishing oils ride the moisture wave deep into the leather core.
