1. It nourishes from within without clogging pores:
- Traditional leather conditioners (based on neatsfoot oil, mink oil, or beeswax) apply a greasy layer to the surface.
- Because Vachetta is a highly porous unfinished leather, these heavy oils saturate the surface, causing the leather to darken immediately and irreversibly, and ultimately trapping dust.
- Vachetta Fatliquor 5.0 uses water as its carrier.
- The water carries micro-droplets of oil deep into the leather's dermis, nourishing the fibers while evaporating cleanly to allow the surface to breathe.
2. The perfect synergy of two tannery oils (Sulfated + Sulfonated)
Rather than using a single ingredient, this product replicates the exact manufacturing process used by high-end tanneries:
- Sulfonated oil has a very small molecular structure which travels to the internal fiber bundles to restore flexibility and permanently eliminate the "cardboard" or rigid effect of old leathers.
- Sulfated oil remains in the upper layers of the skin to restore roundness to the dermis and offer a silky and full feel.
3. Magnetic fixation by pH 5.0

- Sulfated and sulfonated oil molecules are anionic (negatively charged).
