Suede Boots Dye, Carbon and Water Stain Remover Kit US.wd
- Remove dye transfer from blue jeans, carbon black/gray stains, and water marks from suede boots with the Leather Doctor® US.wd System—
- A complete Suede-Safe™ (pH 3–5) restoration system designed for UGG-style footwear exposed to outdoor elements.
- Suede is highly absorbent and easily stained when wet, allowing denim dyes, carbon soils, and water contaminants to penetrate deep into its fiber structure.
- These appear as blue jean crocking stains, dull gray/black discoloration, and brown tide marks, often accompanied by stiffness, shrinkage, and a collapsed nap texture.
- Unlike harsh cleaners that damage delicate fibers, the US.wd system works in a "controlled, sequential correction process—Dye → Carbon → Water" —followed by a complete suede-safe cleaning and restoration system.
- This ensures targeted stain removal first, before overall cleaning, preventing unnecessary spreading or setting of stains.
- The process continues with pH balancing, hydration, and fatliquoring, restoring suede to its natural softness, suppleness, and signature finger-writing nap effect, and finishing with a rub-resistant, non-stick conditioning protection.
Why This System Works (Refined)
Suede boots are vulnerable to multiple contamination types that require different corrective actions in the correct order:
- Dye Stains (Denim Transfer)
- → Blue jean crocking and dye bleeding into fibers
- Carbon Stains (Black/Gray Soiling)
- → Embedded atmospheric soils causing dullness and stiffness
- Water Stains (Moisture Damage)
- → Browning, tide marks, and ring formations
- Structural Damage
- → Shrinkage, stiffness, and collapsed nap
The US.wd Solution:
A systematic, pH-controlled restoration approach that:
- Removes dye stains without spreading
- Lifts carbon soils safely from within fibers
- Corrects water stains and browning
- Restores pH balance for stability
- Relaxes fibers through hydration
- Replenishes oils with fatliquoring
- Finishes with a soft, rub-resistant protection
What Makes This Different
Most suede cleaners treat everything as a surface issue.
US.wd system treats suede as a fiber structure system.
By following Dye → Carbon → Water → Clean → Balance → Restore → Protect,
you achieve a complete structural and visual restoration, not just temporary cleaning.
Core Treatment System (Dye → Carbon → Water → Restore)
Targeted Stain Correction + Complete Suede Restoration
Unlike generic cleaners, the US.wd system follows a precision correction sequence—removing specific stain types in the correct order before full restoration.
1️⃣ STEP 1 — Dye Transfer Stain Removal (Denim Blue Jean Stains)
Dye 5.6 → Rinse 3.0
Removes blue jean dye transfer (crocking) safely from suede without spreading or over-wetting.
✔ Targets dye at fiber level
✔ Prevents migration and bleeding
✔ Controlled towel application for precision
2️⃣ STEP 2 — Carbon / Black Stain Removal (Embedded Soiling)
Carbon 4.6 → Rinse 3.0
Lifts gray/black carbon soils that cause dullness and stiffness.
✔ Breaks down embedded atmospheric grime
✔ Restores brightness and clarity
✔ Prepares surface for water stain correction
3️⃣ STEP 3 — Water Stain Removal (Browning, Rings, Tide Marks)
Water 1.7 → Rinse 3.0
Corrects water damage stains caused by wet outdoor exposure.
✔ Eliminates tide marks and rings
✔ Reduces browning discoloration
✔ Equalizes appearance before full cleaning
4️⃣ STEP 4 — General Suede Cleaning (Overall Reset)
Suede 4.0 → Rinse 3.0
Performs a complete, even cleaning of the suede structure.
✔ Removes remaining residues
✔ Ensures uniform appearance
✔ Prepares for pH correction
5️⃣ STEP 5 — pH Balancing (Stability Reset)
Acidifier 2.0
Returns suede to its natural acidic pH, critical for softness and stability.
✔ Eliminates sticky or alkaline residue
✔ Restores healthy “squeaky” feel
✔ Prevents long-term fiber damage
5️⃣ STEP 6 — Hydration Conditioning (Fiber Relaxation)
Hydrator 3.3
Rehydrates suede to relax stiffness, shrinkage, and distortion.
✔ Plumps and relaxes fiber structure
✔ Corrects water-damage stiffness
✔ Prepares for fatliquor absorption
7️⃣ STEP 7 — Fatliquor Conditioning (Softness + Strength)
Fatliquor 5.0
Replenishes internal fat and oil content for durability and suppleness.
✔ Restores softness and flexibility
✔ Strengthens fiber structure
✔ Enhances natural nap movement
8️⃣ STEP 8 — Protection Finish (Rub-Resistant Conditioning)
S Plus
Applies a soft, non-stick protective finish with a classic leather scent.
✔ Improves rub resistance
✔ Reduces re-soiling
✔ Enhances final look and feel
Why This System Works
Each step is sequenced intentionally:
Dye → Carbon → Water → Clean → Balance → Restore → Protect
This prevents:
- Stain spreading
- Uneven results
- Over-cleaning damage
And ensures:
- Complete stain removal
- Even appearance
- Soft, restored suede structure
