Leather Doctor® Saddlery Aniline Fix 2.6 permanently stabilizes loose synthetic aniline dyestuff after cleaning. It helps prevent color from rubbing off onto your hands, clothing, tack, or a clean white towel before continuing with Hydrator 3.3 and Fatliquor 5.0.
Designed for aniline-dyed vegetable-tanned saddlery leather, it helps restore color stability without changing the natural look and feel of the leather.

When To Use
Use Saddlery Aniline Fix 2.6 when a clean white towel still picks up color after:

Saddlery Tannin Fix 2.4
or when the leather is known to be dyed with synthetic aniline dyestuff.
Before You Begin
Prepare:
- Saddlery Aniline Fix 2.6
- Detailing Horsehair Brush
- Foam Brush or Sponge Applicator (optional)
- Fresh, clean, dry, folded white absorbent towel
Instructions
1️⃣ Spread
- Spread Saddlery Aniline Fix 2.6 evenly over the treatment area.
2️⃣ Wet Out Evenly
- Brush until the leather looks evenly wet from edge to edge.
- Do not leave any dry spots.
3️⃣ Keep It Wet
- Brush over any spot that loses its wet look with a little more Saddlery Aniline Dye Fix 2.6.
- Keep the leather evenly wet to help prevent patchy drying.
4️⃣ Extract
- Press the folded towel firmly onto the leather.
- Lift and use a clean part of the towel.
- Repeat until the folded towel becomes damp.
5️⃣ Dry Naturally
- Let the leather dry naturally.
- A light vinegar odor is normal and will disappear as the leather dries.
- Check only when the leather is completely dry.
6️⃣ Check
- Rub the leather with a fresh, clean part of the folded white towel.
- Little or no color should come off onto the towel.
- If color still comes off, repeat Steps 1–6.
7️⃣ Continue
with:
- Hydrator 3.3
- Fatliquor 5.0
- Conditioner 3.2
Before Use
Mix distilled water ratio 1:6 and shake well before use.
- 2oz Fill - add 48g
- 4oz Fill - add 96g
- 8oz Fill - add 192g
- 16oz Fill - add 384g
- 32oz Fill - add 768g
Storage
- Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Protect from freezing.
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children.

- Degreaser 2.2
- Rinse 3.0
- Acidifier 2.0
- Fix 2.4 (when tannin rub-off is present)
