Leather Abrasion Repairer R4 by Leather Doctor® is a water-based, compact resin solution formulated to repair surface abrasions, scuffs, and pet scratches on leather.
Ideal for addressing everyday wear, R4 smooths damaged areas and helps rebuild the leather’s surface integrity.
For Best Results:
Prior to application, hydrate and fatliquor aged, dry, or stiff leather to restore its original softness, flexibility, and strength. When working with pastel-colored leathers, always conduct a spot test in a concealed area to check for any potential darkening or increase in glossiness.
Instructions:
1. Test First:
- Apply a small amount in a hidden area to ensure satisfaction with the result, particularly on light or pastel leathers.
2. Apply Repairer:
- Use a spatula, palette knife, or other suitable tool to apply R4 to the affected area.
3. Smooth the Surface:
- While the product is still workable, smooth and compress the repair in one direction using the back of a spoon or similar tool to create an even skin.
4. Finish:
- Once dry, the area is ready for color touch-up or top coating as required.
