What Is Suede Rinse 3.0?
Rinse 3.0 is a pH 3.0 acidic rinse designed to remove suspended residues remaining after cleaning or specialty stain removal treatments.
Unlike plain water rinsing, Rinse 3.0 helps maintain compatibility with suede's naturally acidic environment while preparing the fiber structure for subsequent balancing and restoration.
It serves as the transition between cleaning and restoration.
Why Use Suede Rinse 3.0?
1. Flushes Out Suspended Residues
After cleaning, residues may remain from:
- General soil removal
- Specialty stain removal
- Degreasing treatments
- Environmental contamination
Rinse 3.0 helps flush out these suspended residues before they can interfere with restoration.
2. Restores a Clean Foundation
Successful restoration begins with a clean foundation.
Rinse 3.0 helps remove residual contaminants that may:
- Affect pH balancing
- Reduce product penetration
- Impair restoration results
3. Prepares for pH Balancing
- Before Acidifier 2.0 can restore natural pH balance, residual contamination should first be removed.
- Rinse 3.0 creates a cleaner environment for effective pH balancing.
4. Supports Uniform Restoration
Removing residual contaminants helps improve the consistency of subsequent:
- pH balancing
- Hydration
- Fatliquoring
- Surface refinement
5. Maintains Suede Compatibility
Its pH 3.0 formulation works in harmony with suede's amphoteric protein structure and prepares the suede for the next stage of care.
Tannery Science Insight
- Cleaning removes contamination, but residues may remain suspended within the suede structure.
- Rinse 3.0 helps flush out these suspended residues while maintaining an environment compatible with suede's preferred acidic condition.
- This creates a cleaner foundation for the balancing, hydration, and restoration stages that follow.
