When Do You Need Fatliquor?

Important Application Principle
Fatliquor must follow hydration — not replace it.

Instructions
1️⃣ Step 1 — Apply After Hydration
Ensure leather has been treated with Hydrator 3.3 and is properly balanced.
Apply Saddlery Fatliquor 5.0 (Fatliquor 5.0) evenly across the working area.
2️⃣ Step 2 — Spread & Work Into Structure
- Smooth leather → spread evenly to allow penetration
- Grained leather → lightly brush, then spread to work into valleys and fiber structure
Focus on even distribution, not excess application
3️⃣ Step 3 — Integrate & Restore Movement
Allow Fatliquor to integrate within the fiber network:
- fibers regain flexibility
- internal movement is restored
- suppleness develops naturally
4️⃣ Step 4 — Build Gradually
For dry or stiff leather:
- apply multiple light coats
- allow absorption between applications
