Restore Your Saddle’s Natural Look — Not Just Clean It

Saddles don’t just get dirty — their appearance become imbalanced.

Sweat, body oils, and repeated conditioning can push oils deep into the leather, causing:

    • Darkened seat areas
    • Uneven tone across panels
    • Sticky or greasy feel
    • Waxy bloom from temperature changes

Saddlery Degreaser pH 2.2 (Degreaser 2.2) by Leather Doctor® is designed specifically to remove this buildup safely, restoring a more even, natural appearance.

 What Makes This Different

Unlike standard cleaners, this is a targeted degreaser that:

  • Breaks down embedded oil (not just surface dirt)
  • Removes sweat and conditioner residue
  • Reduces dark patches caused by riding contact
  • Prepares leather for proper rebalancing

Same trusted Leather Doctor formula — adapted for saddlery use.

 Where to Use

Ideal for:

  • Saddle seats (darkening from riding)
  • Panels (oil accumulation)
  • Stirrup contact zones
  • Tack exposed to sweat and conditioning

How It Works (Simple 2-Step Concept)

1️⃣ Step 1 – Degrease
Apply and work lightly to lift excess oils.

2️⃣ Step 2 – Rinse
Neutralize and stabilize leather (recommended: Rinse 3.0).

Follow with Saddlery Rinse 3.0 to stabilize leather

 Expected Results

  • Reduced darkening
  • More even tone
  • Cleaner, natural matte look
  • Improved resale appearance

⚠️ Note

After degreasing, lighter worn areas may become more visible.
This is normal and can be corrected with rebalancing (see Y5 system).
