Leather Verdigris Stain Remover 1.3 by Leather Doctor® is a pH 1.3 oxidation-reduction (redox) stain remover that treats leather verdigris - a bluish-green patina.
It is a powerful, water-based stain remover designed to treat verdigris—bluish-green patina caused by copper or brass oxidation—on all leather types. Effective even on tough metal-derived stains, it is safe for use on:
- Vachetta
- Nubuck
- Vegetable-Tanned
- Pigmented Leather
- Aniline Leather
- Suede
- Hair-on-Hide
- Woolskin
Usage Instructions:
- Dilute: Mix product in a 1:3 ratio with distilled water in the bottle before use.
- Apply & Extract: Gently apply to stained area using a cotton swab, bamboo skewer, or soft towel to lift surface deposits.
- Dry: Allow the product to dry naturally so the redox chemical reaction can take full effect.
- Rinse: Finish by rinsing thoroughly with Leather Rinse 3.0 (pH 3.0) until a squeaky clean result is achieved.
