Product Overview
Leather Tarnish Stain Remover Kit P3.hs by Leather Doctor removes practically most stains that derive from metal including the rusty residue from blood stains.
Tarnish Stain Remover 1.3 works by chemical reaction and is left to dwell on a paper towel until it is naturally dry for the product to take effect.
Leather Basifier 8.8 neutralizes the low pH with the same dwelling technique and repeats to let dry naturally.
Leather Hydrator 3.3 relaxes stiff leather and reduces surface tension for an even appearance before fatliquoring.
Leather Fatliquor 5.0 is applied and soaked into the leather structure for softness and suppleness when dry.
Leather Protector B imparts a non-stick buttery feel to shield against sticky soiling.
Note that the mentioned product's suffix numbers denote its pH value in this holistic approach to removing metal-derived stains from leather.
Instruction
Stain Removal:
1: Remover 1.3 is localized on the surface stain using a saturated cotton bud to spot the stain.
2: A larger stain is spotted with a saturated white absorbent towel.
3: Deposited or accumulated stain is lightly agitated with a horse hair detailing brush, bamboo skewers, or an ice cream stick to loosen up the stain.
4: The remaining stubborn deposit is left to dwell for 10 to 30 minutes, agitate with horsehair Brush-1 and towel extract until it shows clean.
5: Stubborn stain is left to be soaked with a paper towel until naturally dry for the product to react with the stain.
6: When the stain vanishes when dry, neutralize it with Basifier 8.8 by applying and letting it soak until naturally dry.
Hydrating:
1: Hydrator 3.3 is applied to relax stiff leathers and to wick out suspended foreign contamination.
2: Stiff leather is relaxed by fully saturating the leather and physically manipulating it to the desired softness before fatliquoring.
3: Wicking out suspended foreign contamination by towel extraction until the towel shows clean.
Fatliquoring:
1: Fatliquor 5.0 is applied and distributed with a foam brush until the leather is saturated.
2: Continuous second or third application is repeated each round the water contents evaporate until saturation.
3: The leather is left for natural drying for extra softness.
Rub-Resistant Protection:
1: Protector B is applied by mist spray and spread with a paper towel.
