Leather Pigment 54 by Leather Doctor® is a fine opaque micro-pigment, water-based compact resin blend engineered for refinishing and restoring high-end semi-aniline and pigmented leathers.

Recommended Topcoat:

Recommended Preparation Steps
✅ Cleaning:
- Prep 7.7 → Soft 3.8 → Rinse 3.0 (remove old soiling, body oil, contaminants)
✅ Degreasing (if needed):
- Degreaser 2.2 → Acidifier 2.0 (for grease, sweat contamination)
✅ Stripping (if necessary):
- Stripper 2.3 (remove deteriorated finishes for a clean base)
✅ Hydrating:
- Hydrator 3.3 (relax leather, redistribute tanning agents)
✅ Softening:
- Fatliquor 5.0 (restore suppleness, prevent future cracking)
✅ Adhesion Promotion:
- Adhesor 73 (apply as a primer layer for superior pigment bonding)
✅ Color Coating:
- Apply Pigment 54 (or hybrid mix) in thin even coats
- Dry between coats
✅ Topcoat Sealing:
- Finish with Matte 54, Satin 54, or Gloss 54 for desired sheen and protection
