Hair-on Hide Acidifying Conditioner 2.0 by Leather Doctor® is a Hair-Safe™ and Hide-Safe™ pH-balanced acidifying solution specially formulated to restore Hair-on Hide affected by urine, alkaline cleaners or household spills.
This pH 2.0 acidifier helps correct issues like tackiness, sliminess, and stiffness by rebalancing the hide’s pH and reinforcing its internal structure.
By strengthening the ionic bond between negatively charged tanning agents, and fatliquors with the positively charged hide protein fibers, this treatment brings hide back to a healthy, squeaky-clean condition.
- Neutralizes alkaline residue and toxicity.
- Restores hair and hide’s original tactile feel and flexibility.
- Prepares surface for hydrating and fatliquoring.
- Helps prevent further hair deterioation or hide structural damage.
- Dilute: Mix 1 part Acidifier 2.0 with 25 parts distilled water.
- Apply: Distribute evenly over the surface using a hair or hide brush or sponge.
- Extract: Gently brush and blot with a clean towel until soil is removed.
- Repeat if Needed: Inspect for improvement and repeat as necessary.
