Wine Stain Removal Instruction:
1. Surface residues are gently brushed with horsehair Brush-1.
2. The stains are spot cleaned using a cotton swab saturated with Clean-3.8 changing them until it shows clean (other white highly absorbent material may be used to match stain size).
3. The stain and the entire section or article are cleaned over with Brush-1, and soiling is extracted until it shows clean.
4. Since most leathers are absorbent, cleaning should not leave any dry edges to avoid rings or marks.
5. Follows with Rinse-3.0 spraying and saturating with an even appearance over the stain and extending to the edges without leaving any dry edges. Repeat towel extract until it shows clean and dry.
6. Penetrated stains need Hydrator-3.3 to saturate, suspense, and break free to the surface. In practice, a long dwelling disperses stains effectively, and the displaced leather constituents like the tanning agent, dyestuff, and fatliquor to redistribute over the stain areas.
7. A cut-out Towel-5 is placed over the stain areas to reverse absorb the remaining wicking-up stain, and the entire article is hydrated and left to dwell for up to 72 hours with constant moisture level with timely topping up. The ideal moisture level would have a little moisture oozing out when pressed between the finger and thumb. When a stain appears on the Towel-5, it is replaced with new cuttings until the Towel-5 cutting shows clean. Excess moisture is towel extracted, and the stain is inspected for even appearance.
8. Fatliquor-5.0 commences by replenishing the fat and oil displaced from the alcohol content of the wine to the entire article for an even appearance. As the water contents evaporate, more is applied until the leather is fully saturated. Fat and oil contents reading 14% with a leather moisture meter would return to the original content level for softness and strength.
9. The leather is left for slow drying for extra softness when dry. The stains are inspected for satisfaction and proceed with Tannin Cleaner-3.5 treatment. Tannin Cleaner-3.5 works the stain by redox (oxidation-reduction) reaction. Precise surface application with an airbrush for small spots produces the best result. The entire surface may be feather sprayed for even saturation. Leave for natural dry for a reaction effect to take place.
10. Inspect when it is dried for satisfaction or repeat treatment. The residue is brushed off, followed by Cleaner-3.8 and Rinse-3.0 systems.
Protector-B ends the holistic wine stain removal process.
